About Boston, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Boston is a small community located in Nelson County, Kentucky, and approximately 270 people reside here. It is home to the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, which was organized in 1802. Boston is conveniently located along I-65. The community is located about 13 miles from Elizabethtown and 35 miles south of Louisville.

Boston is an extremely small community that consists of the Boston Food Mart, Boston Video, a couple of churches, and several other small businesses. With the exception of the local Duck Tours, there are few attractions located here. Fortunately, Elizabethtown is located quite close to this community, allowing for additional recreational opportunities and things to do. Attractions in this city include the Pine Valley Golf Course, the Elizabethtown Nature Park, Freeman Lake Park, and Swope's Cars of Yesteryear Museum.

Whether living or visiting the small community of Boston, it is important that you know what to expect in terms of weather. While the spring months are wet but comfortable, conditions can get quite uncomfortable during the summer. Summer weather in Boston is hot and humid with hazy days that can reach 100 degrees. Thunderstorms with the occasional tornado are possible, so residents will need to be prepared to stay indoors when the weather gets rough. An energy efficient air conditioning unit can make all the difference when it comes to interior comfort level.

Winter weather in Boston can be dangerous for entirely different reasons, although as a whole, the area tends to be warmer than other parts of the U.S. Snowfall is limited, but periods of sleet, ice, and freezing rain are quite common. When coupled with the fact that average lows in January only reach the mid-20s, it is easy to see that conditions could become dangerous. Servicing your system with the help of an experienced HVAC professional during the autumn months can ensure that these units are working at optimal efficiency when needed.
