About Nazareth, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Nazareth is found in Nelson County, Kentucky, and this unincorporated community is also a historic site in the region. Nazareth became the home of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in 1822, and the motherhouse is still found here. It was previously the location of the Nazareth Academy, and the founder – Right Reverent John Baptist David, S.S. – is buried in the convent cemetery. Nazareth is found about three miles north of Bardstown.

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth is the primary destination in the community, but other attractions are available in nearby Bardstown. The Civil War Museum, the Bardstown Country Club at Maywood, the Bardstown Country Club at Woodlawn Springs, and the Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey are a few of the most prominent Bardstown attractions. There are also several great restaurants located just south of Nazareth, including Umami Sushi, Just Baked, BJ’s Steakhouse, and Rebecca’s Pepperoni Grill.

As part of a humid subtropical climate zone, Nazareth will experience four distinct seasons throughout the year. The spring is the wettest season but temperatures are comfortable, so HVAC professionals recommend that residents take advantage of the season by opening up their windows and servicing their air conditioning units. Once the summer rolls around, conditions will become hot with high humidity, and when temperatures reach the 90s, a reliable air conditioning unit will be a necessity to get through the season comfortably.

The area receives a reprieve in the autumn months when average high temperatures reach only about 70 degrees in October, but the comfortable conditions won’t last long. Winter weather is cool to cold, and while snowfall is limited in the area, overnight lows often fall below the freezing point. Not only will an energy efficient furnace system keep homes warm during this time, they can also keep heating costs affordable.
