About Deatsville, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Deatsville is a small community located in Nelson County, Kentucky. It is located between the communities of Samuels and Clermont and is home to approximately 1,100 people. This town is about 29 miles northeast of Elizabethtown, 33 miles southeast of Louisville, and 64 miles southwest of Frankfort.  The abandoned T.W. Samuels Distillery is located here, and it previously produced a signature “T.W. Samuels” of whiskey.

Located in the Bourbon Capital of the World, Deatsville itself is home to few attractions. The historic Deatsville Inn is found here, and the area contains a variety of natural springs that produce the pure limestone water that is needed to make bourbon. There are a variety of famous distilleries located in and around Nelson County, including Heaven Hill, Wild Turkey, Four Roses, and Woodford Reserve. Historic Bardstown is located southeast of Deatsville, and this community is a great destination for art enthusiasts, as Bardstown Art Gallery, Artist’s Barrel, and At Mary’s Art and Antiques are all located here.

The Deatsville area is found within a humid subtropical climate zone. The community is characterized by hot and humid summer months, and in July – the hottest month of the year – average high temperatures reach about 87 degrees. Many days will see thermostat readings that exceed 90 degrees, and for area residents, it is important that homes are equipped with a reliable and energy efficient air conditioning unit. Not only will these systems keep home interiors cool, but they can also improve the quality of air that is inhaled.

Conditions will cool down substantially during the next half of the year, and HVAC repair professionals recommend that Deatsville residents use the autumn months to service their home heating systems. While the area only sees a few inches of snow each year, average low temperatures in January will reach the mid-20s. These freezing conditions can be extremely dangerous without the proper climate control systems in place.
