About New Hope, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

New Hope is a small community in Kentucky’s Nelson County, and it is home to about 240 people. New Hope is a rural town found by New Haven and Loretto, but it is also closely situated to bigger cities – Louisville is approximately 55 miles away, Frankfort is 70 miles away, and Lexington is about 75 miles away. New Hope Publications, a Catholic publication company, is based in this community as is the Saint Vincent de Paul church.

New Hope is a small community, so there aren’t many notable destinations located here. The New Hope Food Mart is located in the area, as is the Four Corners Bar and Grill. Other restaurants are a short drive away in New Haven, including Sherwood Inn, New Haven Pizza Shoppe, and Howie’s Family Restaurant. The Kentucky Railway Museum is also located in New Haven, and it serves as one of the most popular attractions within the county.

The New Hope area will experience four very distinct seasons throughout the year, which is typical with a humid subtropical climate zone. During the summer months, conditions are hot and humid, and temperatures can easily reach the 90s or even hotter. With as often as residents run their air conditioning units during the summer, utility and cooling costs could add up quite quickly. For that reason, it is important that residents have their units tuned up to ensure optimal efficiency, or an HVAC professional can also help to recommend and install a new, energy efficient model.

Winters in New Hope tend to be much more comfortable than other parts of the U.S., but that doesn’t mean that the season isn’t without its dangers. While temperatures are cool during the day, overnight lows fall to the mid-20s. During these times, freezing conditions can occur, especially when sleet and freezing rain move into the area. A heat pump or furnace will keep residents safe indoors during these times.
